MTL gets a Taste of NYC from designer Caroline Constas

I have attended Montreal Fashion Week, (MFW) many times and rarely do I do any sort of write ups about the show itself.

I had the pleasure of attending Caroline Constas, a Montreal born New York raised designer who showcased her collection during MFW.

What I enjoyed and personally liked about the tailored everyday pieces is the New York flair, versus the European touch that I am accustomed to seeing. Everything is produced in New York, with quality taken into consideration and fabrics from France and Italy. I did appreciate the fact that designer Caroline Constas kept in mind that the audience can notice the quality of fabrics when you present. Some designers seem to not comprehend that despite how great the design may be, but cheap quality can be a big turn off.

Personally I liked the show a lot, and despite it being classic pieces the flair and aura of womanly sophistication was refreshing, and something we can wear everyday.

Cant wait to see more from this talented designer 🙂
